The second season of the international talent show. Amateur cooks from all across Russia join the show to become the best cook.
The judges include the main Moscow restaurateurs and cooks and namely, Arkadiy Novikov, chef Mirko Dzago and Ragout cooking school teacher Denis Krupenya. Over the course of two months they will evaluate the talents and efforts of the contestants. None of the contestants is professional cooks or has experience working at a restaurant. There are two stages of casting with 100 people to choose from. Only 12 of them become contestants on the show MasterChef. The winner gets three prizes — one million rubles, an opportunity of the on the-job training at one of Arkadiy Novikov’s restaurants and the title of the best cook of the country.
